I began my career on the defense side — representing insurance companies, the corporations they protect, and the institutions that often outspend and outlast the people they harm. I learned the playbook from inside. I saw which cases got settled, which got fought, and which got pushed aside.
What I also saw was the kind of person who lost most often: the injured worker who didn't know they had rights. The immigrant who was told their case wasn't worth anything. The driver whose lawyer stopped returning calls. Good people, fighting a system designed to wear them down.
